Time management was the key for those trying to pass the ICAEW Corporate Reporting exam this July. Many Advanced Level students just felt they were playing âcatch upâ in the exam. The problem was the lack of direction, and just understanding what the examiner wanted.
Other sitters found Q3 âso hardâ, and many thought the AI question was all a little basic â â You could have read a brief summary and answered the questionâ said one sitter.
The appearance of cash flow after an absence of a few years caught others out. One sitter admitted: âIt threw me off massively.â
Most sitting Strategic Business Management thought the exam was OK, although some struggled again time- wise.
One sitter, however, thought it was âterribleâ, and another said the interest rate swap with FOREX was just âcheekyâ!
The overall the consensus for the Case Study exam was that it was a good paper.
