Some 400 first year university students can gain exciting paid work experience at two events hosted by Deloitte in Manchester next April. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the firm and a career in professional services, and take part in business games, skills sessions, and debates.
Applications for the 11th annual ‘Spring into Deloitte’ programme close on Monday 6th January.
Lauren McCafferty, director of early careers at Deloitte, said: “We encourage students from all backgrounds across the UK to apply. ‘Spring into Deloitte’ gives students a valuable opportunity to develop new skills, build career enhancing networks and learn more about Deloitte and what we offer as a firm. Colleagues from Deloitte’s 12 diversity networks will also be on hand to demonstrate how we foster an inclusive culture by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds.
“Whether your interests lie in numbers, technology or people; ‘Spring into Deloitte’ offers something to suit your skills. With the winter break and Christmas approaching, now is the perfect time to apply for these two highly sought-after events next year.”
“Spring into Deloitte’ will give 400 students the chance to sharpen their presentation skills, engage in hands-on mock projects, and draw inspiration from the firm’s colleagues over the space of two days. They will also have the opportunity to fast-track to secure a place on the firm’s coveted second-year programmes – the Summer Vacation Scheme or the Industrial Placement Programme.”
Open to both first year and second-year students in four-year courses, ‘Spring into Deloitte’ will run from 14th-15th April for audit & tax and 16th-17th April for strategy, risk, and technology. As well as being paid, Deloitte will also cover travel expenses to and from the event, including an overnight stay if required.
Students across the UK can submit their applications here.
Please note that Deloitte has said applications may close early if it fills all the places before the closing date.
