Leading voices will come together this month for the CA Summit, an award-winning global business event offering fascinating insights into how technology, socioeconomics and politics are redefining the way we live and work.
The virtual event, held by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) on 19 and 20 November, provides an opportunity to engage with the big ideas shaping the future. Held over two-hour sessions on consecutive afternoons, the summit returns for the first time since 2022, with interviews, panel discussions and interactive sessions, all broadcast live from the CA Summit studio.
The BBC’s Chief Economics Correspondent, Dharshini David, will host a formidable line-up of speakers including Edwina Dunn OBE, renowned data scientist and the pioneer behind Tesco’s Clubcard, and former Minister for Trade and Waitrose Managing Director, Lord Mark Price.
Bruce Cartwright CA, ICAS CEO, said: “The CA Summit 2024 provides finance and business professionals with a unique opportunity to hear from some of the UK’s brightest minds.
“How can we harness AI to shape society for the better? Are politicians and business leaders making decisions that will benefit our growth, people and the planet? Join hundreds of other attendees for the answers to these questions and more unmissable insights.”
Day one ‘Are you ready for Business 3.0’ will focus on the AI revolution. Experts will exchange views on preparing for an AI-powered world, tackling ethical concerns, workforce upskilling and the implications for regulation.
Day two ‘New governments, same old economy?’ will delve into the post-election and post-Budget landscape. Guests will explore how to forecast for political changes and whether fiscal prudence can be balanced with economic growth.
