A Pearson Vue software update over the weekend of 7 August created a defect that affected ICAEW exams which contained scenario-based questions.
This meant ICAEW Management Information, Principles of Taxation, and Accounting exams all sat on 9 August were ‘affected’. The exams remained off-line on Tuesday 10 August, before becoming available again on Wednesday 11 August.
Any student that was affected by the defect and failed had their exam result removed, and they were able to rebook without any charges.
