The countdown has really begun for the 19th PQ magazine awards night – it will all be happening in London Town on Monday night.
We have the red carpet waiting at our new venue, Proud Embankment, and have polished our shiny PQ trophies to hand out to our winners!
Among those shortlisted in the Student Body of the Year category are UWS Accounting Society, and they are travelling down from Scotland to be there! They are up against the University of Manchester’s Student Society, BCASS, the CIPFA Network, and Northern Chartered Accountants Student Society. So, it’s a tough category.
We also have people flying in from Australia and Europe, one nominee is in Ukraine so we aren’t quite sure if they will make it.
Editor Graham Hambly said: “It was another record year for entries and it’s been over two years since we were all together, so it’s going to be a great night!”
