It was all quiet on day one of the ACCA September exams – ACCA’s Action Plan seems to have worked!
AA and AAA students even claimed the papers were easier than ‘normal’. As one AAA sitter said: “After hearing some of the horror stories I was actually pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”
Some AA September sitters claimed they ran out of time and one told us they ‘hated’ the exam, but others said “it wasn’t difficult” and another felt their mocks had prepared them for the test and “so I’m feeling happy and 18 October can’t come quickly enough”.
For AAA there was still quite a lot to read and some PQs admitted they struggle to read, digest and plan their answers properly; “The pressure is always there to start tapping away as quickly as you can.”
One sitter called AAA ‘good’ and another said: “I think today’s exam was easy”.
We have picked up that there might have been problems in Cyprus. Someone emailed PQ magazine to say they had waited almost three hours to sit their exam. Limassol students were told to bring snacks and drinks in case it happened again.
