AAT has now launched its new governing structure, with the appointed its Trustee Board, under the inaugural chair Sir Stephen Hillier. Together with Sir Stephen there are 11 non-executive directors, who have overall responsibility for establishing and overseeing AAT’s strategic direction.
At the same time AAT has created a formal member advisory council (MAC), chaired by President Michael Steed. It is hoped the new MAC will amplify the membership voice, ensuring the community stays at the heart of AAT’s development. MAC appointee Jas Bhohi will also serve on the Trustee Board.
In addition, Richard Collins has been appointed chair of AAT’s Professional Regulation and Standards Compliance Board (PRSC), and Julie Swan become chair of the Awarding Organisation Compliance Board (AOC).
