All 330,000 Deloitte staff around the world are being put on a mandatory climate change course.
Run with the World Wildlife Fund the course will try to make delegates challenge how they live their lives, work, commute, and even how they advise clients!
Deloitte is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2030, and its WorldClimate initiative will, it says, drive responsible climate choices within the organisation and beyond.
Global CEO, Punit Renjen, said: “Climate change is the challenge of our lifetime. The United Nations climate report is a reminder that it’s up to each of us to take action and business has a crucial part to play. As leaders we need to recognise that our people are our greatest asset – our “superpower”. With organisation-wide climate education programmes, business can develop a culture of climate-conscious thinking at the very core of their work.”
